Who We Are

The Texas Indigenous Lineal Descendents are resilient people that have withstood the test of time.  They are remnants of once powerful people who are moving forward in reclaiming their heritage, their traditions and their lifeways.  As the Lipan Apaches existence depended on their Buffalo relatives, our mission is to rematriate their traditions so as to reclaim their inherent birth rights to this land.

TTBP is currently developing programs that will reconnect our community members to their Texas Indigenous Lineal Descendent heritage. These programs include Regenerative Agriculture, Youth camps,  TXIndigiDNA project, preservation of the Lipan Apache culture, and community initiatives and outreach. Through these programs we are able to offer knowledge in Traditional skills and lifeways that will continue to benefit our people for generations to come.

As many of our ancestors assimilated into other cultures, and as the Buffalo were nearing the brink of extinction,  many traditions and lifeways were lost. Our connection to Buffalo was lost. Because of this loss, Our people suffered a dis-connect from their homelands and from their culture.  The mission of TTBP is to rematriate the Buffalo and the native communities in Texas.  As we reconnect with our relative the Iyane’e, we will once again learn those traditions and lifeways that they taught our Ancestors and preserve our culture for the younger generations.
